Existing Priorities

The JSNA process involved an analysis of the Borough’s existing priorities across the range of strategic documents such as the Community Strategy, Children’s and Young People’s Plan and Safer Communities Plan. Since then, the Council has produced a Vision and blueprint for Rochdale Borough 2014-15. This sets out a new vision and direction for Rochdale Council for 2014-15 and a blueprint for each of our four themes for the future; promoting success and independence; quality of place; critical services; corporate and support services. In addition, the Council has appointed a Local Public Sector Reform Board which has set out objectives, high level actions and success measures over a two year period. Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale CCG have also published their Integrated Commissioning Plan 2012-15 which sets out the CCG intentions for the next three years to improve health, reduce health inequalities and improve the quality of life for people living in the Borough of Rochdale.
